This was a suprise film in the fact that the write up did not sound great but after watching it i thought it was under rated. Ray Liotta puts in a brilliant performance as Lee Ray, a death row inmate spared his execution at the last minute by agreeing to be a test subject for an anti agressive drug that has been developed by Willem Defoe's character. The resulting effect of the drug has suprising consequences and keeps you gripped through the whole film.

(135)very good film.
By a customer , 16 Jan 2012Ray Liotta, at his best, lots of action, and he can change
from being nasty to being good, and he is so good at it,
you kept hoping things would turn out alright for him, well worth watching.- Was this review helpful to you?

not as expected
By TinkerbellPan (53 reviews) from Leeds , 13 Nov 2011Love Ray so could not miss anthing with him in it, this was not the action packed film I had expected but turned out to be more thriller than anything else very slow in places but has a good foundation and a few twists that I did not see coming. Definatly worth a watch as Liotta makes the film as he does not dissapoint on any level playing the part perfectly against defoe. Great casting / film could have been stronger.- Was this review helpful to you?

Very, very good apart from...
By desmondsdoll (235 reviews) from Stockport , 22 Mar 2010...the poor ending. There were some very predictable/poor scenes in this movie but despite all that it was fast-paced enough to keep me interested and once I'd watched it, I was surprised to see how long it had been on for. It's a good storyline and similar to something you could actually imagine happening - I really do recommend this despite its made-for-TV feel - this is one I shall definitely watch again!- Was this review helpful to you?

VERY GOOD ++
By a customer from ST ALBANS , 24 Aug 2009THIS WAS A LOT BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. THE TRAILERS THAT SHOWED BEFORE THE FILM STARTED SEEMED LAME SO I ASSUMED THE FILM WOULD BE OF THE SAME STANDARD BUT IT WASN'T. I LOVE RAY LIOTTA AND HE GAVE A GREAT PERFORMANCE. IT KEPT ME AND MY FAMILY INTRIGUED ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND WE ALL AGREED IT WAS A GOOD FILM.- Was this review helpful to you?
