For die hard Marsters fans only.

I was quite excited to get this film as I have never before seen James Marsters playing a human being! He stands up role as Bobby Comfort well, but the (mildly humorous) film itself lacked any real surprises or plot twists and I found myself not really caring what happened to the characters involved, a couple of which were really irritating - more like characatures than anything else.
Don't get me wrong, it was a perfectly enjoyable way to spend a cold. wet afternoon but I think this film would only really appeal to the legion of Marsters fans out there and maybe even they might feel mildly disappointed at the end. Then again, I might just be a hard to please cynic.....who knows?- Was this review helpful to you?

By deavesy (15 reviews) from Liverpool , 31 Jan 2008based on a true story, but I wondered why this story had been chosen as to me it wasnt the most amazing story to adapt to a screenplay.. but it was amusing and interesting enough to keep me watching (the gorgeous James Marsters did help too) I have a short attention span so if something isnt interesting I'll usually turn it off even if I like the actors. All the acting was good, it was great to see james in something different to normal.. I wouldnt recommend it as a rental but if it ever on telly and your stuck for something to watch, it'd be a good choice then!- Was this review helpful to you?

spike should stay as spike!!!!!!
By a customer from south wales , 05 Mar 2007i really could not get into this film only watched 15 mins of it and had to turn it off, i have to be fair and say that james marsters cannot act unless it is buffy or angel!!!!! If you are a spike fan then i strongly advise you not to watch this as you will not be able to get into the film!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

average film, but great a James Marsters

Thats very good, because 'Bobby Comfort' is a different character, and Mr. Marsters is able to show this diffrences. All in all it is an average film, but the story is very well played by its actors.
