[Highly rated reviewer]this dvd is based on the story of Jamaica's hard fought battle into the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It starts when Derice Bannock, Yul Brenner and Junior Bevil, who are competing in the Olympic try outs to represent Jamaica in the Olympic games in Seoul, Korea. Junior accidentally trips himself over, causing Derice and Yul to go over with him and miss out on the Olympics. Derice and his friend Sanka Coffie persuade ex-bobsledder Irving Blitzen who is played by John Candy, to coach them and get the money they need to get to the Olympics. This is a brilliant movie that is suitable for all the family. it is well worth renting out.

Cool RunningsBy a customer from Ammanford , 22 Jan 2009This is hilarious film! It made me laugh all the way through. If you fancy to watch something with no drama or solving a mystery, just an easy entertainment for a friday/saturday evening that is suitable for the whole family, then this film is for you.
