Why was Willis paired up with such a silly character?

This was the movie when I realised my favourite Bruce Willis is getting old and is losing his spark onscreen.I loved him in his previous action movies but on this one he seemed to take a back seat to his totally childish and silly partner, who I found annoying after the first few minutes. I have no idea who thought of putting the two together as they couldn't have been more mismatched. It was a watchable movie, ONLY because Willis was in it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Just an OK movie
By tuffjam (29 reviews) , 07 May 2013if it wasnt for the brief humour of sean william scott it would have been a minor chuckling film and as for the music, sounds of the 80's, which when at the credits saw that harold faltermeyer did the music, which if you dont know did the main theme for axel f, top gun etc... why they put it in a 2010 movie i'll never know but it didnt bode well...- Was this review helpful to you?

Properly titled
By RJNeb2 (922 reviews) from London , 01 May 2013'Cop out' is exactly what noted indie writer-director Smith has made here, his first major studio movie, as this must surely rank as one of the unfunniest buddy comedy movies of all time. Don't even bother with the plot - the Lethal Weapon films got there first - but if you must insist on watching this obnoxious pile, wear earplugs so you don't have to put up with Morgan shouting and screaming from the get-go. Somehow he interprets volume for 'comedy'. Willis wisely looks like he wishes he was elsewhere.- Was this review helpful to you?
