In this inventive, stylish and gripping thriller, tough detective Holly Hunter teams up with agoraphobic criminal psychologist Sigourney Weaver to hunt down a serial killer who duplicates the crimes of his most notorious predecessors. Thanks to the unbearable suspense created by director Jon Amiel's imaginative direction — the bathroom-set climax is a crackerjack shocker — the super-smart script and the confident performances of the two stellar leads, this mimic murder mystery is one of the best crafted chillers in the Se7en tradition.

    Thrilling

Although this movie is a little old now it still has a lot to offer. It has a very well thought out storyline. Sigourney Weaver does a great job playing the agoraphobic professor of serial killers. The plot has lots of twists and turns and it really is a thrilling movie. Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it!

    Great film

I've seen this movie a few times but unfortunatly had to borrow this one from a friend. The one sent out to me was too worn to use in my player.

Even so! This movie is still a great thriller! Only a month or two will go by before this movie fades from memory and you'll want to watch it again.

    ok

This film was ok, i had seen it before but forgot wen i rented it. Its very slow, from the middle of the film you can tell who does it all and what will happen, its ok for a saturday wet afternoon, but if your looking for suspence and gorr and action this isnt the film. it still enjoyable in places, and weaver plays a good part as usual.

Interesting story. Well acted though difficult to relate to the characters. Not sure if the director could have blended the behavioural extremes a little more smoothly. One of those which you think is going to end, but carries on! Entertaining, and worth a look.

Sigourney Weaver plays Sigourney Weaver in this tired old psycho stalker film as usual the police psychologist is stalked by the killer , I have seen it all before and though it is well made and well acted its so predictable. Did not light my fire

A well-acted thriller on over-familiar themes; the performances do not compensate for its sense of staleness.
