More surreal and sexy farce - brilliant
By Stephen Dawson from London , 16 Sep 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
What can one say - if you liked series one, you'll like series two. More of the same, with each of the characters getting their chance to shine. The multiple perspectives of 'The End of the Line' lead to a hilarious climax, and there are some hide-behind-the-sofa moments as Jeff manages to dig himself into some incredibly deep holes, and keeps digging.
Disc one has 'The Man With Two Legs', 'My Dinner In Hell', 'Her Best Friend's Bottom', 'The Melty Man Cometh', 'Jane And the Truth Snake', and 'Gotcha'.
Disc two has 'Dressed', 'Naked', and 'The End Of The Line', plus a very brief 'behind the scenes' segment, which disappointingly just shows a photo-shoot on the set, and interviews with Jack Davenport (not very interesting, and almost inaudible) and writer Steven Moffat (more interesting, but still with very poor sound).- Was this review helpful to you?

not the british friends
By pihgpaeu (14 reviews) from Gravesend , 16 Jun 2007friends is credited as giving birth to this and a whole new genre of sitcoms, but i have to say that this series is far more adult orientated with a lot of risque subjects including being caught while enjoying some 'alone time'. If you liked friends but have since grown up then i recomend that you give the first series a try, the second series is better but the third and final series does let it self down slightly with the replacement of one character.- Was this review helpful to you?
