I have to admit that I wanted to see this movie for 2 major reasons:

1) It just looked so bad that I thought it would be worth a laugh

2) It starred Dani Filth.

Anyway, after a lot of arguing with my taste and suffistication I decided to give it a go and I loved it.

It's not a good movie by anyones standards. The acting is drama class stuff and the writing, direction and editing don't come off much better. But then, if you rent this I don't think you're really too bothered about these things. What you do get is a film that helps pass a couple of hours well enough.

I happen to like 'bad' films so I found this enjoyable. Of the 4 stories the first 1 has acting so bad it makes your toes curl until you get used to it but still manages to be enjoyable. The last story is definately the best, although the twist is blindingly obvious. All 4 parts are linked by a story of revenge and black magic and when it does come, the final good vs evil showdown is hilarious. Okay for a horror film it's not scary and the effects are quite bad but that's not everything.

At the end of the day if you're looking for a well made, well acted movie go for something else. But if you're after some mindless fun give this a go. You never know......you just might like it.
