Jason Statham is back as Chev Chelios, proving you can't keep a dead man down. Chev survives a jaw-dropping plunge from a helicopter only to be kidnapped by a triad gang who has plans for his seemingly indestructible heart. He wakes up three months later to discover his ticker has been surgincally removed and replaced with a battery operated pump, which needs regular jolts of electricity to keep working... cue pain. With gun-toting babes, Mexican mobsters and crazy Chinese gangsters giving chase, Chev hooks up with girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart) and sets out to retrieve his heart before it gets transplanted into the geriatric triad boss. With double the action, double the pain and double the ill-advised sex in public, "Crank 2 - High Voltage" is an electrifying, tongue-in-cheek thrill ride. No holds barred, out-and-out fun from start to finish.

That's about it really.
A daft film full of swearing and near-porn at times. Plenty of blood-splattered action and a fast moving if very silly plot.
If JS hadn't starred it would quite likely have been complete rubbish but he dragged it back from the pit of no-star-reviews.
Zac Efron's time travelling new movie has topped the U.S. box office in its first week on release. 17 Again, in which Efron plays a 37 year old who gets to relive his teen years, toppled Hannah Montana: The Movie with a £16 million opening weekend take. Russel Crowe and Ben Affleck's political thriller State of Play opens in second place, while Monsters Vs. Aliens claims the third spot and the Hannah Montana movie slips to four.
