  • Ryan Gosling could become a big screen star, so I follow all his films. This one does not disappoint.

I didn't have much hopes really for this storyline as outlined in reviews.

But I watched it just to keep up-to-date with the burgeoning career of Ryan Gosling who I think could become a wonderful screen star-----and I have been watching movie stars come and go for over 50 years.

And, actually the film was good, and not just because of the talented Mr Gosling, but also because of its above-average presentation of all the cinematic departments.

Yes, I rate this film as 'Good' and that places it firmly as a 3. 5 star movie. Easy :))))))

If you're looking for a very funny, feel-good film, with a great cast, then Crazy, Stupid, Love certainly won't disappoint. I had to practically force my brother and boyfriend to watch this film, but they both loved it and were laughing out loud throughout. All of the cast perform brilliantly, particularly Carell and Gosling, who's unlikely friendship is the source of many of the film's laughs. If you want an easy watching but high quality comedy, then I would highly recommend this film.

Average rom-com. I was a bit disappointed by the story. I did not laugh much. I expected more from Carel. My family, though, thought that it was an amazing movie from which they had an awesome time. Go figure! Taste and colors can't be discussed. I guess it boils down to the individual's choice. Hard to agree on this one. Your choice, your pick, your laugh or your distate! Good luck on this one!

What came over me - saw it on a plane and wanted to see it again. And I hate mainstream films. I thought it was brilliant the second time, good funny ending, recommend it. And Ryan Gosling acts his socks off (well, in a predicable role)!

Let's get the first thing out of the way here - Ryan Gosling looks SERIOUSLY gorgeous in this and obviously that is a plus for any film! However, this is an excellent romantic comedy and the unexpected friendship that develops between him and Steve Carell's character is the core of this film. With excellent supporting performances by the great Kevin Bacon and Marisa Tomei as a 'woman on the edge', plus the lovely Julianne Moore and Emma Stone, it adds up to an ensemble piece that has some hilarious moments - and a funny twist that none of my family expected when we all watched it together. Oh, and did I say that Ryan Gosling looks seriously gorgeous ....?

Not as funny as I expected it to be. I think the funny bits were all in the clips we saw. Not one that I would recommend.
