An excellent intro to an excellent show
This disc, which features the first four episodes of hit US crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, encompasses everything that's great about the show into four 45 minute episodes. You're introduced to the main characters and their personal traits - vital for understanding some of the later episodes - and see the CSIs tackle a wide variety of different crime scenes. If you're a fan of the show but haven't seen it from the beginning - or, indeed, are a complete newcomer - this disc is a must-see. One of the finest shows on TV of the last decade, CSI stands proudly alongside "Twin Peaks" and "24" as the most groundbreaking drama series' of the era. Highly recommended!

fantastic viewing
i've never seen the very first series of C.S.I until now. its been well worth the wait, the only way i know how to describe it is absolutely fantastic. it keeps you going with it the whole time and you have no fear of getting lost as it keeps you well informed and the flashbacks as they reconstruct the incident is pure genius. it answers every question you can think of concerning how they go about their investigations to catch the criminals. well done to the writers and the director and to everyone else on the team of the C.S.I series it does you proud, thankyou for making it a gripping, thrilling and interesting series for people like myself that can keep watching it over and over, as i never get tired of watching them.
