Getting to know the characters.
When a series is given 22-24 episodes to establish the characters and then given another 22 it makes for well rounded performances from some very fine actors. I do not like Catherine Willows though. She thinks she is so it!

Definitely beats waiting for the TV series and with the extras makes it great. CSI is a must for anyone who likes forensic films or series. The mixure of detail, suspense and a slight touch of humour makes CSI a must to watch. For anyone who as never seen this series, the episodes are based around a death and how the CSI team determine where it be accidental or murder, and how it happened.
CSI episodes are based around the same characters, giving you the feeling that you know them and how they act and work together in the various situations they come across as a Crime Scene Investigators. -
