Excellent heist movie with laughs

So often America and France don't see eye to eye - but the combination of the two different cultural styles in this film makes for a refreshing and fun movie.

The premise is a team of bungaling French thiefs who accidentaly rob a leading figure in the Mob during a break in. Following this mistake, they then manage to get the FBI on thier tales also! The movie follows there attepmts to extricate themselves from their prediciment.

The movie is fairly fast flowing and brings together the best that the two countries have to offer - in actors (Gerard Depediue and Harvey Kitel), action and humour. An excellent supporting cast really bring the best out fo this film also.

The tongue in cheek humour of the french, coupled with the production and slick action of the hollywood blockbuster make this a movie well worth seeing.

My only critisism - and it is only slight - is the slightly predictable plot - but it is something truley special that manages to combine all of the excellent points in this film and be completley original!
