    superb.............................

this dvd second series is superb. criminal minds is very much like 'without a trace' and 'CSI', with a different case per episode.

the Behavourial Analysis Unit has a team of experts with unique abilities, headed by a complex, tortured and brilliant older man called Agent Gideon.

Mandy Patinkin plays Agent Gideon, an intense, quiet, but very talented criminal profiler, who puts together physical and psychological descriptions of criminals, by examining the crime scene.

most of the episodes, build up in intensity, until Gideon and his team identify and find the criminal, before he commits another crime, usually of arson, kidnapping or murder.

the episodes can be quite disturbing, as they deal with the worst kind of criminals.

Dr. Reed, who is played by Matthew Gray Gubler is one of my favourites, as although he is a genius in his chosen field, he is not a good communicator with ordinary people. you could say he lacks the social skills. this just goes to show, the human side of a character, as well as their genius.

    well worth watching.

    Top Notch

I my somewhat opinion this so happens to be the best programme on T.V of late and makes the old fav C.S.I look stale in comparison. Plots, story lines, characters and sometime even unpredictable twists are all top notch and so intriguing that they keep you coming back for more.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to immerse yourself into this world as of yet and you are into psychological thrillers with deep meaning real characters then give it a once round the block, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Criminal Minds - Dr Reed is the business!

Another brilliant season of Criminal Minds - full of weird and twisted sickos and some new faces on the team which is refreshing to see.

I would highly reccommend Criminal Minds to anyone who enjoys CSI-type shows, it's a little different to the usual forensic stuff, using psychology to track down criminals.

Throuoghly enjoyable, but don't watch it alone in the dark!

Even better than the first series

I was hooked on the first series and the second is even better. The stories are just as good although they can get a little disturbing and gory at times which is a good thing, some times these things get watered down or sanitised to cater for every demographic. There are strong one off guest appearances and a particularly good performance from James van der Beek (? the dawson creek guy). The characters and there relationships continue to develop but not at the expense of fast tight storylines. If you start one disc you will have to watch all 4 episodes at once and watch the letterbox for the next one!

This shows studies the profile of the individuals who create these crimes and in order to catch these criminals, they must understand them - great show.
