Quite what drove Paramount Studios to bankroll a third instalment in the “Crocodile” Dundee franchise — 13 years after the second — will be beyond anyone unlucky enough to sit through it. Characteristics that once seemed charming in star Paul Hogan (his “innocent abroad” act, outback wisdom and crocodile-hunting bravado) are now as weathered as his face. The slight story concerns a Hollywood backlot art heist uncovered by Dundee, while partner Sue (Linda Kozlowski, the real-life Mrs Hogan) is working in the LA office of her dad's mind-blowingly unrealistic newspaper. The direction is slow, bordering on the soporific and, at 62, Hogan seems to know he is too old for this schtick. Just saying “No worries, mate” no longer counts as comedy.

  • The joke has worn very thin in this second sequel to a ramshackle hit of the mid-80s, and invention appears to have given out completely.

    A sequel too far?

Well who I am to be the judge? I thought the first two films were brilliant when i first saw them. This film was funny but did use many of the old characteristics from the previous films which made them. However it is still a brilliant and amusing film and worth watching!

    Blendered

I liked this film, it had a nice blend of Crocodile Dundee 1 and 2. I consider it the better of the three because there is a lot more going on.

OK, so the plot is not amazing, but what do you expect from a comedy?! There are not many comedies around that have amazing plots. You need to look at this film and decide before hand that you are in the mood for a laugh and then you will be able to really enjoy it!
