    [Highly rated reviewer]

This is a weird film in terms of what audience it is aiming for, you have school gangs trying to take control of school although why never seems to be a concern apart from vanity.

The two rival leaders both share the same friend and show more care for him than any female.

Amazingly for all the fighting and blood there are no deaths which makes these very considerate gang members.

    Probably suit the Twilight crowd.

  • ANOTHER POWERHOUSE HIT FROM TAKASHI MIIKE

    Rated - 5.0 stars

Another hit from the prolific Japanese Tarantino, Takashi Miike. Two rival gangs battle it out for supremacy of an inner-city sink school. With twists and turns along the way, oddball Nipponese humour, powerful action scenes and gripping performances, this is well worth two hours and nine minutes of your life.

If you like Japanese dramas filled with action and violence, you've found it. A good yet very different storyline from most gang films which for me really made it interesting.
