Most helpful review Cry Of The Innocent

  • The worst film I have ever watched

    Rated - 1.0 star
By Alan McCullough from Northern Ireland , 12 Feb 2005

    [Highly rated reviewer]

This must surely be one of the worst films ever made. A small twin engined plane setting off from Rome to fly to New York via Shannon (laughable). The plane crashes on a house and bursts into flames and by the time the fire service arrive the house is gutted and there is no sign of the plane. Remarkably the plane is quite intact when we see it in the hangar again where it is being examined by police. Surprise surprse they find a remarkably intact timing device amongst the wreckage. The story goes downhill swiftly from here on . Rod Taylor who a wee previously had buried his wife and children seemed rearkably at ease with the newspaper reporter

  • Worst Yet

The single star goes to Cyril Cusack and Nigel Davenport for agreeing to appear in this nonsense. Hopelessly staged/contrived direction/camera shots/plot. Dead wife in brunette wig metamorphosed into dead-ringer blonde journalist helps Rod Taylor (at his acting worst) with investigation. Need I go on?
