One of the criticism's of cube 2 that I often hear (other than "what's going on?") is that it was too similar to the first one. And so is this one. It is very similar to the first, even more so than hypercube. This is no bad thing though, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I imagine this will be the last of the cube films, and it is a fitting epitaph. The questions are largely answered, and keeping in tradition, new twists are revealed as they advance through the death maze.
Downsides? Still a few things remain unanswered and the question presents itself...If 1 cube seems to kill people quickly and efficiently, why build (at least) three?
Still, this is some great (but gruesome) entertainment, enjoyable for a saturday night in.
as title suggests i'm bored with the cube films however my wife thinks they are great with exception of 2
