This film has a great look and feel to it. Dorleac is the gorgeous pouting 60s goddess. Pleasance is a hopelessly repressed and eccentric Englishman. They get a visit from members of the Rotary Club, as well as a couple of gangsters.
It reminded me of a Pinter, Beckett or Joe Orton play. Lots of good ideas and ingredients, but it didn't hang together overall. I watched it last Saturday and I can't remember the ending now. I don't thing that really matters.
