To botch together a film of offcuts from the other films
This has been done to only one other person I can think of namely Bruce Lee.
Legally this is very dubious territory for film companies to venture into

Peter Sellers Role!

The Best Comic actor in the movies and no doubt still sorely missed by loads of his fans.

Where's Peter Sellers?

Without him, it just wasn't a Pink Panther movie, especially that soon after he died. Others may enjoy this movie without him, but everyone should know that he is not in it.
