Not great, but not wholly without ideasBy Rehan (128 reviews) from London , 18 Sep 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]I started watching this film and thought I'd made a HUGE mistake: as others have pointed out, the dubbing is terrible (a second or two out a lot of the time), and the clichés come thick and fast.
But are they clichés or is it the way people are, or even the way people feel they need to be?
Having said this, much of the acting was not so much wooden but MDF [I've said that before but I think it's good so I'll say it again]; and so were many of the concepts. But, odd though it may seem at a casual viewing, there are some pertinent observations about being a minority-within-a-minority and the strains of being not only an ethnic minority but a sexual one as well.
Many of the points were laboured and clumsy, but unless you're in a very sour mood it's moderately engaging.

Camp but OKBy Gizmo1970 (10 reviews) from Dartford , 02 Oct 2009Good story , acting is good, but a very camp portrail of gay life, overall not a bad film and mildly entertaining.
EntertainingBy vh (35 reviews) from London , 09 Jul 2009I was heading for a deception by the other reviews when I encountered a very light and interesting story surrounding gay issues and the search for their love.
The hidden desires, the uncertain wishes, the fear of unveiled appearances being discovered, the lies and deceits, ... all played in a very very light enjoyable mood.
A good afternoon film to watch with your mates. You will laugh a bit (not much), and will make you thing also a bit (not much)...
Different!By Gucchi (18 reviews) from Southend-on-Sea , 29 Jun 2009Not bad but not brill either. Could relate to a lot of the issues and laugh at them too.

[Highly rated reviewer]I started watching this film and didn't think I was going to enjoy it. The acting seemed a bit naff at first but as the film moved on I didn't notice it so much. I quite liked this film. It had its funny moments and although I'd prefer a better ending for Mel and Todd, I did quite enjoy it.
I think this is definitley worth a watch and glad I saw this.
feel good movieBy captainsexy (4 reviews) from London , 01 Apr 2009I enjoyed watching this film, although the first 1/2 hour is a bit slow. It is full of untapped humor and very nice dialogue. The carachterization is also spot on and come across as believable. The day after scene is so Hilarious it kept me laughing for ages.
