Very funny BBC comedy show; like a 1990's Devonshire Spinal Tap.
Marc Wootton (from 'My new Best Friend' and 'High Spirits With Shirley Ghostman') does his most conventional comedy alongside two characters Frogger + Beetle.
I imagine it is more scripted than his other series, but this is probably to its advantage.
As the characters play their parts, they often interact with unknowing real people, though it is often unclear if they really aren't part of the cast. It is a shame that the actors stay in character during the audio commentaries since I'm sure there are real stories to tell about the filming.
The comedy is like Marc Wootton's other stuff (of course), and also like Chris Langham's 'People Like Us', 'This is Spinal Tap'.
Also, it is always nice to get the whole series on a single DVD and not just one or two on each disk; saves you on waiting around for your next dose of comedy.
Only rented to see some of Marc Woottons earlier stuff and found this on the whole funny, if he wasn't in it though it would of been another story.
Frogger, the mute backround character is seriously annoying and wierd and could of easily of been replaced by a shoe.
Glad i got to see Marc's early stuff though as he is funny throughout and made up for the supporting characters being, well complete turd.
