  • FEARLESS BUT THOUGHTLESS

    [Highly rated reviewer]

A lot of nonsense but a lot of fun - especially in the action scenes. Bollywood has obviously learned a lot from films like The Matrix and the Bourne series - and it shows here in their impressive attempt to outdo both.

The story of two feuding brothers is completely disposable and all we are left with is a lot of macho posing-for-the-ladies wrapped-up in a faux-revenge plot against the villain for killing the two brothers' mother; bringing them together for the final showdown. The pitiful characterization asks us not to care about this as if it were an unimportant matter. But it is not and so this could have been so much better.

It's really great movie of Salman Khan. I haven't seen movie like this before. Salman Khan looks very charm in this movie and what a amazing acting he did in this movie.

This movie has emotion, action, drama and comedy. The opening action sequence is mind blowing. I am not a fan of Salman Khan, but he really made an effort with his character and was very convincing and did well. The villian of this movie Sonu Sood also gave an awesome performance. This is an excellent family entertainer which should not be missed. I have already seen this movie a few times on DVD, but I rented the blu-ray to enjoy it in HD. This is an all-time classic and I will be purchasing the blu-ray soon.

  • Dabang - a feel good watch and fun

Really enjoyed this film, it is one of the newer generation of slickly put together films with decent special effects.

Salman is still looking very good, and seems to have fixed the bags under his eyes in this film

The story is traditional hindi film fare, but I won't spoil it by giving any more away.

    watch and enjoy

I don't normally watch Salman Khan movies, however having heard the reviews i thought I would give it a go and try not to expect too much. Maybe it was the mood I was in but I actually found this movie much better than I originally thought I would.

I'm not the biggest fan of fight sequences but I didn't mind them in this movie.

Salman Khan again, was actually much better than expected, has he toned down is bulk?? he looked better, however a little on the old side next to Sonakshi Sinha.

On the whole I was pleasantly surprised at the step back into old masala type films, with all the modern technological advances with effects and stunts.

I would recommend the movie to those who don't expect too much, and want some light comedy.

  • Rubbish movie

    Rubbish movie.

Bollywood makes a lot of good and wonderful movies but for some reason movies from salman khan/shahrukh khan/ranbir kapoor keeps on over-highlighted in media even though they are not good movies.

The plot is similar to 25 years old bollywood movie, for rural area, no dialogues, not even good fight sequence. I dont how this can become one of the highest grossing movie.

They should see movies like 'Sholay', '3 idiots', 'Mukhbir', 'Wednesday'.
