Where have all the good comedies gone. Strange that we have to watch series from the 60s and 70s to find script writers with a sense of humour. This classic series makes you laugh whether you are 10 or 70. For todays so called comedy writers - watch and learn!!
In this day and age of alternative comedy and strong language, it's great to watch a classic like this. The characters still shine and the episodes will have you rolling with laughter. You may ask why is Dad's Army so popular with so many generations?- simply put, it is very very FUNNY!!
Rent this today, it is a great choice for all the family with clean, side-splitting humour. Oh- and by the way, I'm 32 and have loved this comedy since I was a little boy.
