Sweet but predictableBy daiagnr7 (6 reviews) , 20 Sep 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]A really sweet although rather predictable plot line; really nice chilled out and relaxing film that was very easy to watch.
On the down side the script was weak as was some of the acting. Oneof the best things about the film was the soundtrack.

A keeper...By Beefybehappy (6 reviews) , 03 Mar 2013Shame the movie is not. Sadly plays into the negative stereotypes and is contradiction at times. Idris, one of my favourite actors but a movie to pay the bills, well gets him into the American market anyway.
Idris Elba. That's it.By Kirkcudbright (24 reviews) , 03 Feb 2013I rented this because of the beautful Idris. For a rubbish film, it's OK. I can't imagine anyone watching this on a date- run for the hills! But if you like handsome men and you have a cold and your dinner is a bowl of soup under the duvet on the couch, this is an OK choice. Oh, and the lawyer lady is very pretty too, if that's your thing.
It is Tyler Perry - do I have to say any more?By McMalaga (6 reviews) , 30 Nov 2012A pleasant enough film but very clichéd and formulaic - this is Tyler Perry after all but what can you do when the girlfriend is tired of subtitles? Idris must have needed a break after the Wire because he just about phoned it in but that was about all he needed to do. To be fair it was okay for a lazy Sunday afternoon - or better still to replace the reality/no talent/wannabe shows on a Saturday night.
No oscars for 'surprise factor' but still greatBy a customer , 22 Nov 2012Loved it. A nice 'date night' film. Yes I somewhat predicted the ending about 20 minutes in, but we still really enjoyed the film. Tyler's usual entertaining standard.
Nice filmBy a customer , 14 Oct 2012A nice film very moving and touching some bits were a bit predictable but that didn't really matter because it was a movie worth watching!
