Poor cash in from Daddy Daycare

Having done fine with Daddy Day care as a reasonable family comedy, if the script fior this actually got past his agent, Eddie Murphy must have struggled through page one and thought, naaaaa they cant get away with this, and sent it straight back with a thanks but no thanks note attached. Cuba Gooding Jr, is a more than adequate step in for Murphy, but he can only work with the material provided, and to be quite honest the material here is poor, very very poor. This is a film that is unlikely to raise a titter from any audience, kids or adults alike. It is the film equivalent of alcohol free lager, it has the look and taste of Daddy daycare but it just aint right... Unless you have something to punish your kids for, for fear of reprisals you had better not perch them in front of this, they wont thank you at all.

    My Daughter Loved It!

This was hired at the request of my ten year old daughter who loves Daddy Day Care (most played dvd from her personal collection).

This is very much in the same mould, but as with all sequels they never seem quite as good - and changing the actor playing the lead character always gives a sequel a strange feel anyway.

Only 3 reviews at the time of writing this; and all negative so I feel a little uneasy giving this a general thumbs up BUT my 10 year old duaghter thought it was great and wants to give it a 5 star rating. - she is already hinting that she would like us to get a permanent copy!

As she was the prime reason for renting this DVD there is a strong argument to go along with her assesment. My wife thought it was a harmless enjoyable follow up with a couple of giggles in a very predictable format (daddy day care + cheaper by the dozen 2).

...after getting into the mood for this type of movie I've got to be honest it was exactly what I was expecting and thought it was ok... so, now to decide what rating to give it... mmm, I'm gonna go for a 4 'cos it did the job that it was intended for us.

A true straight to dvd cash-in sequel

It would of got 0 stars except my 8 year old insisted it was a 5 star even though my 12 year old, girlfriend and myself wanted to tear our eyes out!

    Daddy Day Camp

This is another happy film where you can see the ending from the start but you still watch it anyway!

It'll make you smile and I'd recommend this to anyone who just wants to sit back and laugh!
