Dallas series 7

This is a masterpiece of bygone TV. I missed Dallas first time round as I was too young to watch it and only caught occasional episodes as I got older, but to fully appreciate what is going on, the complete series needs to be seen.

Series 7 is just as exciting as the 6 series gone before. JR is up to his usual tricks-blackmail, revenge and generally ruining people's lives. Tragedy for other members of the Ewing family and a wedding (although this is not actually shown which was a big disppointment to me). Cliff's incresaing frustration with his new venture prompts some serious over-acting and hilarious facial expressions, but eventually he gets his reward (long overdue in my opinion). The obligatory cliff-hanger ending has left me desperately needing series 8 to be released, as I am not sure I can wait until Feb 08.

If you love high drama with twists and turns, and can remember the 80s with affection or missed out on this era, then you will not be disappointed by renting this series.
