these are my favourite crime fighting duo, and the release of the dvd is long overdue. hopefully, the bbc will continue and now release later years series. daziel is the perfect grumpy old boss, reluctantly being dragged 'kicking and screaming' into the modern day. The similarities between him and gene in 'life on mars' is uncanny. a great disc, which can be viewed time and time again.- Was this review helpful to you?

On the surface the UK cop shows appear to have a formula but the cast development in both the story line and the acting makes them unique!- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from West Midlands , 05 Dec 2006If you have only just started to watch Dalziel and Pasco as I have you will enjoy the first 3 episodes very much. warren Clarke is brillient and has got Dalziel charecture down to a T. Great first series
