Director Mario Bava was a huge success in his native Italy, he directed films in every genre and gave birth to the Giallo that would in later years become the American Slasher. Danger - Diabolik is a rather odd film to review, it's a comicbook brought to life. It is visually stunning and generally has great performances all round. It is however let down by a rather stuffy English dub. There isn't that much dialogue anyway, so try and watch it with the Italian dub it fits much better.
