Marisa Tomei she is great in Danika. it's one of those psychological thrillers, so audience reaction will inevitably be so different, but Marisa Tomei plays in a gripping, and very good performance.

Every parent wants desperately to protect their family, especially children, so in this respect Danika is basically no different to any other wive or mother, All of a sudden, though, her life has taken a turn toward the surreal. She begins having awful visions which lead her to seek psychiatric help after what can only be described as a psychotic episode at work. Not only does she see awful things happening to her husband and kids, she also has psychic-like visions of other kids dying in horrible ways, and these things come about in such a way that she feels as if she could have saved them. This leads her to become ever more obsessive in terms of protecting her own family, and we all know how teens and pre-teens react to overprotective mothers. the story is surreal and sometimes confusing as the tension builds toward a pretty powerful conclusion.

As with all thrillers, the proof is ultimately in the ending. It is possible to figure out, what is really going on here - I picked up on it from the preview I don't think it matters much whether you figure things out on your own or not. The emotional power of the final minutes is not to be denied, and the whole movie leaves you with plenty to think about. It's the kind of ending that viewers will want to discuss with one another after the fact, and I think that is a sign of the story's ultimate effectiveness. ,some critics might find this film confusing so give it a bad review but I think the majority of viewers will find this movie intense well worth a watch

For the love of God - NOOOOO!

What a piece of crap. If you like the nonsense that was Sandra Bullock's 'Premonition' - you wait for it, you wait for the scare, and you get it, maybe once or twice, but in the end, you are left with that empty 'this is the 90 minutes of my life I am never getting back' feeling - then go for it.

Marisa Tomei is actually commendable in this - without her, I would never have watched this until the end.

However, that is simply not enough. Empty, shallow and unoriginal. If you want a good horror, see 'Penny Dreadful'.

    Weird but predictable

There are some many directions this movie could have gone but I get the impression that it took the 'art for art's sake' route. Some of the things it gives away at the beginning give you an indication of where it's going and if you've paid attention then about a third of the way through you'll know how it ends.

Personally I wouldn't bother, if you want weird then watch Donnie Darko.

    WHAT IS THIS

Well what can I say, would love to write a review about this, but neither myself nor my mother really had any idea what on earth was going on, Totally way out there and if you want a mind blowing film that leaves you wondering what you just watched then get this one!

    WEIRD AND WEIRDER!

The film keeps you guessing until the end,and the problem is that the end had so many twists and turns i'm not entirely sure what it was all about!I have an idea.

The story is good in itself,in that you never quite have a clue as to why this lady is seing visions of deaths and things that don't appear to be happening.

Glad i watched it,but a bit disappointed with ending because it didn't seem to fit together and show what it was all about.

A bit like WAKING THE DEAD does for sometimes!

Its a bit DEAD END,THE OTHERS,that new one with Sandra Bullock, that sort of thing!

A very engaging movie with lots of plot twists, and a very surprising finale. If you need an adrenaline fix of explosions every 30 seconds, leave it alone, if you like an entertaining, thought provoking movie, then this is for you !
