Average Footie DVD

Whilst the delivery of the links by Mr Dyer is good humoured and fine, the main problem with this DVD is that the footie clips are just so-so. Nothing amazing or fabulous about them; just a bunch of mediocre cock-ups and reasonably good goals. For a better DVD this year look at Martin Sheen's You're The Boss - much more entertaining.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Dan, Dan he's our man
By scrabslad (40 reviews) from Hove , 08 Feb 2012Danny boy..........the pipes the pipes are caaaalling.
Football crazy dyer is here to school us in the world of professional football. His cheeky chappy outlook on life is displayed here for all to see and as the write up states he is a fan favourite and he is THE danny dyer. Not Nathan Dyer. Not Keiron Dyer. These are dyer's that no nothing compared to our top dyer danny. Especially when it comes to the sport of kings - football.
We are immediately thrown into the lions den after pressing play and daniel doesn't let us down. 'Oi' he states 'have a butchers at this' (Before you ask Terry Butcher has nothing to do with this as he wouldn't bloody his name again for the sake of football). From that moment I was hooked as the football gaffes induced a hysterical hysteria inside me which only Danny can unlock.
I assure you that fans of Dan will not be dissapointed. The actor has such a repetoire of character's up his sleeve that sometime you can't recognise him but here he is just bein plain old danny. The one we have all come to know and love.- Was this review helpful to you?

Danny Dyer's Football Foul-Ups
By enro (1 review) from London , 15 Mar 2010Really rushed, not funny but the most dissapointing thing is the standard of the clips. They're very average, and its pretty clear someone has written Danny Dyer's material so it won't hit home with his target audience. Clearly rushed out as a stocking filler, this is poor and cheap. If you're a Danny Dyer fan, see football factory and If you like own goals and gaffes, get Danny Baker's freak world of football on VHS.- Was this review helpful to you?
