BAREDEVILBy Nigel Stafford from England , 25 Apr 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Ben Affleck is only rivalled by John Travolta in his ability to choose very, very cheesy scripts. This is certainly not his worst choice so far -- I still get night sweats from Pearl Harbour --- but it is certainly his third worse choice after Gigli. This movie is ruined by epileptic editing. Fight scenes blinker like strobe lights - shot as they are at many different angles --- chopped as they are into one second slices, there could easily have been a flash of a penis in there and no-one would have noticed. Who is fighting who? There is a flash on the roof, and then the criminal falls to the ground. The window breaks and then there is a shadow. The other criminal fall to the ground. The swinging lightbulb pops. A penis flashes on the screen. A cat eats a Mars Bar. Daredevils velcro pants flash past. And then the fight is over. And suddenly Matt Murdock, Daredevils alter ego, is not the only person who has been blinded by waste. Colin Farrell can act - but he is poorly directed and his character is flaky at best, embarresing at worst. The target tatoo on his head screams 'shoot me'. He can't save this movie. Jennifer Garner looks great and can act, but she is poorly directed. She can't save this movie. Ben Affleck can't act AND looks bad. He definately can't save this movie.

Dusty DevilBy Robert Macrowan from Brighton - England , 27 Sep 2008Poor story, poor action poor acting not in the same league as Spiderman or the others in this genre. It passes the time but please don't bother with a Daredevil 2.
Action packed filmBy KingWalshington (226 reviews) from Brixham, Swindon , 18 Sep 2008Really enjoyed this though some of my peers felt it sucked. I felt there was a lot of action and great acting. Didnt think the Kingpin should have become a black guy but guess he was well suited for the part in build wise.
Apart from that good action film.
Bloody horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!By Karen931 (212 reviews) from Edinburgh , 18 Aug 2008Blind action-hero's, i dont think so.....we are far to intelligent to buy that kinda crap!!!!!
Horrible, dont do it, find something, absolutely anything rather than renting this pile of ..........
Better than Electra, but then that wouldnt be hard!!!!!By Karen931 (212 reviews) from Edinburgh , 15 Aug 2008I HATED the blind superhero idea, and Affleck acted it out like a five year old would........all staring eyes and face feeling!!!!! But all in all it isnt so bad, okay it doesnt stand up to the likes of Batman, Spiderman or X-Men, but if you watch it expecting the worst as i did you will see its not so bad. The whole thing could have been worse tho.......like Electra!!!!! Now that is a BAD movie!!!!
