Most helpful review
Slow, amateurish, baffling
By froggequene (14 reviews) from London , 10 Apr 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
Short review: there are better films on here, choose one of them, wait for this to crop up on Zone Horror but I don't think this would reach Zone Horror's standards, so you could be waiting a long time.
Long review: I freely admit I chose to watch this film purely because it has Toby Stephens in it, which is poor criteria to use when choosing a film & I feel I have punished for my lapse in judgement.
The film is written & directed by a first timer. The opening is quite amateurish, the use of music is poor, the pace is slow, the story is incoherent and doesn't make sense unless you watch to the end - one of the pivotal scenes is so quick, if you blink you miss it. It's also quite blatantly filmed in the UK but they pretend it's in the US & most of the cast are British putting on the most atrocious American accents - if you can sit through a middle aged woman delivering crass gynaecological based anecdotes in a fake Southern drawl, more power to you.- Was this review helpful to you?

(16)Wouldn't recommend!
By a customer , 19 Jul 2011When i first saw the trailer for this movie i thought i would enjoy it, it seemed quite scary and i love horror movies however i was very disappointed with it, i didn't understand the ending at all, in fact i have no clue what the movie was supposed to symbolise so i wouldn't really recommend this to anyone.- Was this review helpful to you?

DON'T WATCH
By a customer , 12 Jun 2011Don't waste your time watching this film. It is beyond rubbish. Felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. There was no story line and didn't make no sense what so ever.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dark Corners
By a customer from Maidenhead , 30 Nov 2009absolutely nothing original about this film except for a couple of good horror scenes. could not understand either the story line or the ending. it stars that weird girl from american beauty whom you happen to see on the toilet more than once in this film which incidently is about as interesting as her performance gets.- Was this review helpful to you?

Confusing but enjoyable
By a customer from Hereford , 30 Oct 2009Actually not a bad film despite what so many reviews say. If you are expecting a slick main-stream style film, then you'll be disappointed but if you like films that are a little raw in production with a feeling of 'niche', then watch it- it is worth it! The plot is a little confusing but ultimately it does leave you to make your own mind up as to it's conclusion but this style does seem to unsettle a lot of people. The horror scenes are well done and some of the shots are refreshingly low-tech in their creation with a lot of atmosphere.- Was this review helpful to you?
