Altho i enjoyed the film i liked bette davies better in othere film
This film was enjoyable but a bit sad and over acted i think

Her portrayal of a young, vivacious socialite stuck down by one of the classic Hollywood ailments which leave one looking luminous until the end, is joyous to behold. The rest of the cast provide decent support with the exception of a woefully mis-cast Humphrey Bogart. A gem!- Was this review helpful to you?

Superb

One of Davis' best.
By ζυγός from London, England , 26 Jul 2009Dark Victory promises good entertainment for old movie buffs and drama enthusiasts alike. Bette Davis, despite being 31, is completely at ease playing the hedonistic 23 year old and Geraldine Fitzgerald is gorgeous as Miss Ann King.
George Brent and Bette Davis have rendered remarkable performances, flickers of their real life chemistry blatantly obvious.
