Dive, dive, dive!
After the above average 'Director's Cut' that has been around for quite a while, it's good to see this small screen classic given the treatment it deserves. Re-edited into a mammoth five hour presentation over two discs, this masterpiece is at last available on this uncut, nerve-shredding and essential viewing edition!

DIVE, DIVE, DIVE
Das Boot, a truly great mini series. Opens with the chilling fact that 40000 U-Boat sailors went to sea, 30000 failed to return! The fact that U-Boat sailors had a slim chance of survival sets the scene.For even more realism try German language with English subtitles. A great gripping series.
