Little Use High School Comedy
By Bribaba (146 reviews) from London , 01 Jul 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
Bonkers Korean comedy set in the No Use High School. One of the teenage hookers in the class has given the English teacher syphilis. Good start, then, but it quickly goes up/down hill (depending on your persuasion). There's a number of impressive set-pieces, usually involving slender and very beautiful girls but it always remains wholesome. In the absence of a compelling narrative it really needed someone like Takashi Miike to come along and inject some serious bad taste.- Was this review helpful to you?

(10)A rather odd collection of hilarious stories
By a customer , 16 Feb 2013Its a series of odd entertaining stories, its very different to most western comedies I've seen but its crazy antics I found enjoyable.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dasepo Ok...
By KikiChan (4 reviews) from Manchester , 28 Jan 2013Having watched the original Korean series, watching this film version left me disappointed. I felt there was a lot of wasted potential, that should have been used to explore a few of the other characters better. There was a really weird bit in the middle that was not at all relevant to the series and took up a lot of film time (something about a cheesy lame monster...) I think the film would've been better without that part. However, if you've not seen the series and you like crack-tastic unusual comedies, then watch it, it's a light and funny film. Also, go look up the series! It is 100x funnier and much better!!! :D- Was this review helpful to you?

Highly Amusing Korean Musical / Comedy
By PampyC (17 reviews) from Liversedge, W Yorks , 22 Sep 2010All the young actresses and actors in this film are very pretty (intentional), and it is all very brightly coloured and sparkly so it makes for great superficial viewing. Beyond that, it has amusing characters, fab tunes and a number of intriguing sub-plots. However, it does fail slightly with confrontation with the main villain - I couldn't work out why that was put in the film as it didn't quite fit with the rest... A small gripe :)
Watch it!! I love the Korean sense of humour and this doesn't disappoint!!- Was this review helpful to you?

A new favourite!
By a customer from London , 11 Jun 2010I started watching this film with trepidation after reading a review in Neo magazine but found it funny, colourful and suggestive rather than pervy - I was expecting it to be like a Korean Carry-On movie but it's more like a cross between Rock and Roll High School and Grease with perhaps a more surreal landscape.
I think I need to buy a copy and make all of my friends watch it now!- Was this review helpful to you?
