Surprisingly funny
By a customer from Ilford , 13 Apr 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
Wasn't expecting much from this one but it was actually quite funny. Weak plot but Carell and Fey hold it together and basically save the whole movie. Can't go wrong with the Ramones' 'Blitzkrieg Pop' as an opener either.- Was this review helpful to you?

(243)embarrassing moments!!
By laneyb (260 reviews) from Rochester, Kent , 09 Jun 2013Just ok...I am a great fan of stupid comedy so this should have been rated 5, instead I found myself actually contemplating switching off after about 45 minutes as some really pathetic bits started creeping in, way to over the top stuff, more than childish behaviour which made me feel embarrassed for them!! It was really funny before this so I decided to watch it through. It did pick up again only to have another moment later on, really no need to put these so so silly bits in, it spoilt it for me!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Time waster
By Bigeats (7 reviews) , 04 Apr 2013A witless, poorly scripted waste of time which we stopped watching half way through. A dreadful waste of Carell and Frey- Was this review helpful to you?

Perfect for a date night in.
By Bobsview (559 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 10 Mar 2013A very funny romcom set in NY. They steal someone elses dinner reservation. Steve Carell is brilliant in this. I just cannot understand how some do not like this film. I found it absolutely hilarious. I loved it. It is a great comedy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not the Best
By Daisy12 (14 reviews) , 27 Feb 2013Not sure what to say about this film other than that it is really quite bad. I almost gave up after twenty minutes in. It is funny in places but there are so many better films out there than this.- Was this review helpful to you?

Tedious and predictable
By strayfish (7 reviews) , 31 Jan 2013Boring, glamorous, thrilling and dangerous. Only one of these is apt and sadly it's the first. Fast forward doesn't help.- Was this review helpful to you?
