"...ZIGGY STARDUST is an excellent example of its genre, with Pennebaker capturing the excitement of what was a very special, emotion-charged occasion..."
"...A satisfyingly nostalgic experience..."
A genuine classic! Ziggy bows out with 70s glam style, Mick Ronson and the rest of the Spiders were in awesome form, movie style presentation, a must have for any Bowie fan and a must ahve for anyone else that remembers the 70s with fondness. Bliss!
A great DVD - only problem is it is Dual Layered and can be problematic to read on some DVD players.
Other than that its a superb DVD - a must have for any Bowie fan, whether a serious collector or not.
Quite cheap in the shops too now, down to about 9.99.
Obviously its the infamous Final Ziggy Show, where Bowie announces his retirment as his most famous alter ego - a great tracklisting too.
A musical God, then and now always sets the standards other can only dream of!

This is a must watch film for any Bowie fans. Really cool to see him perform in his early days. Just wish I had been there.
