He may be no oil painting but the old git has still got it!
By a customer from Norfolk , 11 Oct 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
So he may not look like a rock star god and legend anymore, but man can he play that guitar! Some nice extras, some original mixes, great presentation both in surround sound and visuals, but best of all you get the feeling that he enjoyed it (which is nice!). Look out for special guests such as Bob Geldof...makes for a good rental. Shine on you crazy diamond...- Was this review helpful to you?

(23)Better guitarist than singer
By bbd (12 reviews) from Chesterfield , 18 Aug 2009I wasn't expecting acoustic guitar. Unfortunately, the lack of volume (and the slow pace of the early part of the concert) made me think it more suitable for a wake. It really allowed the weakness in the voice to come through.
The guitar playing is - as always - superb. But I much prefer electric guitar by this artist. I saw part of a concert on TV where Crosby & Nash sang a couple of songs and for the rest of the time David Gilmour just played the guitar. This was much more to my liking.
I didn't really look at the video quality - I was using the facility on my DVD player to run at 1.3 times speed until I found a track I liked.- Was this review helpful to you?

The Great Gilmour
By a customer from Merthyr Tydfil , 25 Dec 2008Whether you're an oldie Floyd fan like me or just like good music, don't hesitate to rent this one. It features some nice re-workings of Floyd songs and some of Gilmour's own material recorded at Robert Wyatt's Meltdown. Highly recommended!- Was this review helpful to you?

Dissapointing
By a customer from Lancashire , 03 Jan 2008As a big fan of DG & PF I had big hopes for this DVD. Unfortunately, it was slow and boring. I managed about 45 mins before getting bored and watching the bonus material which was also uninspired.- Was this review helpful to you?
