    Brilliant - David Kirch is the Ultimate Personal Trainer

    If you hate going to the gym but need to tone your upper body this is for you. When you work out with David it is like having your own top personal trainer in your own home. Clear, concise and effective, this routine gets the job done. Combine this with David's Lower Body Routine to get outstanding body sculpture. Excellent! Light Weights Required

    Great workout

    This is definately one of the best workout dvds i have used. It is perfect for toning the arms, shoulders, back and abs. David is really encouraging and motivating and i definately felt happy following the routine right through to the end because it was well paced and i knew the exercises were working. David adds his own little touches to tried and tested methods which i feel really gives the workout an edge because you don't get bored with repetitive routines.

    I have lost interest in other workout dvds because they are too fast or too boring and you feel that the trainer isn't relly speaking to you. And if you feel the same then David Kirschs dvd will definately shed a new light on exercise.

    It is a shame he doesnt combine the lower and upper body workout on one dvd because i certainly think it would be the best one on the market.

    I can't say much more apart from this dvd is fab.

    Waste of my time

    I expected more from this DVD as i had checked out the reviews on Amazon first.

    When i work out i like to feel worked out and want my muscles to ache a bit the next day.

    In the DVD you have David and Shawnee demonstrating the moves, it is toning with no cardio and lasts i think 50 mins.

    The moves are basic and you use light weights (they use 2lb or 1kg to you and me) When i did this i used 1.5kg as it's the lightest weight i own. You do basic moves like a bicep curl and chest press but since you are using such light weights and you only do about 15 reps per move, you can do the entire 50 mins without feeling you worked your body in the slightest, i didn't sweat, get out of breath or feel a thing the next day and I'm a lazy couch potato.

    Overall your 50mins is better spent doing another DVD which will work. This is so simple and basic. It would only provide any kind of workout if you were seriously unfit and over 60.
