Nothing special

This film is pretty terrible for the most part, but no worse than the amateur-hour crap of the original that this is based on (This is not a remake as many seem to be claiming). The original was a weak following to 'Night' and 'Dawn', and always will be. Day of the Dead (2008) is a throwaway watchable (once or twice at best) zombie flick...nothing more and nothing less. But don't be fooled into thinking this a pale showing compared to the original by Mr Romero, because this actually is about on par with that :)
