    [Highly rated reviewer]

Dead Meat premiered at FrightFest05 in London,i was unfortunate enough to not see the festival, but this is a gem,a plausible story line, with reasonable acting & directing.the script wasn't bad,but this film is heavily influenced from romero's work, john carpenters musical scores, and the effects and style of zombies from a lucio fulci, italian zombie flick,oh and not forgetting cronenberg, some genuinely creepy moments with lots of bloodletting!rent this not day of the dead 2 contagium!

  • Not Bad Zombie film, there are better ones to view though

    Rated - 2.0 stars

Not The worst Zombie film I have seen, that title goes to Zonbie driftwood.

acting wasn't great, zombies were a bit rubbish but somewhat watchable if your in the right mood.

To be honest you can forward most of it when they are walking and not saying much just as I did. More money and time spent on the film might have made some difference (Acting, Zombie make-up and Script)

Some fans will enjoy it others will hate it, its up to you the viewer to make your own opinion on this film

  • Was there a script?

    Rated - 1.0 star

I watched 10 mins of this movie. I think they just went out onto the street and asked some randoms if they wanted to be in a movie and went from there. I am convinced there was no script...the acting was so horrendous. So bad it was kinda funny. But not funny enough to watch the whole thing.

In a way it has to be seen to be believed!

  • Zombie fun

This film did a great job of reminding us why the zombie genre is one of the best. It took a lot of bits from various zombie films, and reminded me of the old italian zombie films. It was funny in places and dark in others, the gore doesn't pull any punches and there's some even laughable death scenes. The acting was O.K and it captured some casual relaxed characters. As in they didn't seem forced or over acting. The directing annoyed me at first, it was a little dynamic and it tried to hard to be a bit arty. But you forget about it as the film is capturing. The zombies were like what you see back in the day, not Hollywoodised.

I really enjoyed it, and true Zombie fans will too.
