what the?

What a strange film. I did scratch my head a few times but that's nothing new watching most Takashi Miike films.

It had an interesting visual style and after watching the interview with Miike you understand why it was so wild and graphic. Some parts were hard to take though; the dog sex scene; the poo-death scene.

I think the wild ending was good fun and perhaps the film would've benefited from that kind of sensibility from the start.

It looked OK but not brilliant but that's probably down to the equipment used for filming rather than the DVD transfer.

Also included on the feature DVD was an interesting interview with Miike.

Strange, disturbing, but enjoyable. Perhaps it has a limited audience though.
