Well where to start with this one. A really top film firstly. I am really shocked that it is only rated a 15 however I thought it was an 18 and think it should be. It isn't overly gorey really but there is some and I tell you for someone who likes horror's and has watched an awful lot of horror I thought this one was quite scary. It depends what you look for in a horror and what scares you. For me I don't like cut em up and dice them or pickle them type films I dont like torture films but I do like general horror and I do like films of a supernatural theme, so this one appealed to me. The old woman in this film is well scary and it really does have you on the edge of your seat quite a lot, the action starts from more or less the very beginning of the film which is unusual, so your not watching and waiting through half the film before anything happens. I don't want to go into too much detail and spoil it for you, not that we are supposed to or allowed to anyway, but there is a part in the film when the old man who works in the funeral parlour is in the mortuary and goes into a cupboard/cellar and all I will say is 'OH MY GOD' it scared the crap out of me and I jumped a mile wooooahhhhh well creepy. I was sitting bolt upright and as far away from the screen as possible with a light on and the sound lowered a little and it still frightened the crap out of me(bearing in mind I was on my own and originally had the light off). This I feel is a really good scary film and if you like scary films this is a definate must see. There are plenty of scares, plenty of twists, plenty of 'on the edge of your seat' moments and it was an unusual and original film. One of the best horrors I have seen in a while and do not let the certificate 15 put you off because that to me does not do it justice. Trust me if you like to be on edge and have a lot of jumps you will like this, from the very start of the film right to the very end. I give it 10/10 I thought it was excellent.

Possessed puppets? meh. Full of plot holes, illogical behavior and horror cliches, they even had a clown (see 'IT'). Come on guys, can't you be a little more original? I could pretty much look at the character list and predict who got killed off before watching the film. The only redeeming aspect is the verbal interplay between Ryan Kwanten and the dectective guy, that was fair at best, without it I doubt I'd even watch as far as th end.

This film was hard to watch due to lack of intreast it could muster. It took me 2 goes to see the whole film. The only high point was spotting 'Billy' the puppet from SAW. This film was OK but if you want to add it to your list make it a low prioraty. The acting was poor on the part of most people in this film.

Not a bad film. Predictable in places but has some really jumpy parts. Even the title menu on the DVD made me jump. Yikes. Good story. The 'ghost' & puppet effects are scary as well. Ideal for those who are scared of ventriloquist dummies and what a good scare on the night.

Glad I rented first. I may consider buying this now it's in the sales.

I did quite enjoy this film - which is a rare occurance as have high expectations.Admittedly slightly corny string of coincidences, but if dollies and clowns frighten the crap out of you - then you will find this a face hiding experience.Interesting twists, and it has a very old fashioned feel. This was the type of film that could snuggle safely into early horror which emerged in the late 1980's.

What a waste of 90 minutes of my life. Please do not bother. I would rather spend 90 minutes writing about how bad it is than watch it again. It's a wannabe Childs Play/Chucky with a laughable backstory out of a $50 indie movie from 1983 about a spooky dollmaker. Whose GHOST, that coincidentally possesses dolls, kills people and turns them into, guess what... dolls, who in turn kill more people, and turn them into more dollmaker-possessed dolls dot dot dot. Nuff said? It is ludicrous. And not in a good way. Complete pants. Pants. And to call it pants, gives pants a bad name. If one less person that reads this review decides to watch it, my time has been well spent.
