    The stink of death

I've lost count of the number of reasons I hate this film. In no particular order...

I hate the fake scratchiness on what is obviously a digital print

I hate that all the women are either in hot pants or sking tight jeans

I hate that all the dialog is mannered to the point of being totally bogus

I hate that a 20 something girl would call a radio station and request Dave Dee, Dozy Beaky, Mick and Tich record

I hate even though she has to expalin to everybody who Dave Dee, Dozy Beaky, Mick and Tich, she still manages to refer to them as Dave Dee, Dozy Beaky, Mitch and Tich.

I hate that Tarantino obviously hates women

I hate the fake scar on Kurt Russell's face

I hate that I wasted a couple of hours of my life on this tosh

I like that I've gotten a few degrees of hate off my chest and can now get on with my life, because unlike Tarantino I do have one.

    two thumbs down...

Quite possibly the worst film i have seen in the last 5 years - I'm a big of fan Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and to a lesser extent Jackie Brown, but this is truly awful.

No real plot. Terrible endless dialogue interspersed with action sequences.

    Avoid!

    Death Proof

A new Quentin Tarantino movie is always an occasion, though Death Proof is the first serious setback in his fitful career. As you probably know, this was originally conceived as a 60-minute segment in Grindhouse, a tribute to the exploitation movies that played in double bills at drive-ins and sleazy inner-city fleapits in the early 1970s. The package also included a scifi-horror-shoot-em-up, Planet Terror, written and directed by Tarantino's Dusk Till Dawn buddy Robert Rodriguez, and parody... Read more
