    Brilliant revenge flick, with twists..

You see your son murdered by a gang... what would you do ? You would probably want it to be something along the lines, but maybe not totally, just like this. This has a real seat edge streak of revenge running through it that draws you right in, and action to match. While Kevin Bacon just has that perfect natural look for a mild mannered father, Garrett Hedlund is superbly menacing as his nemisis, the lead Gang member Billy Darley, plus as a bonus we get John Goodman popping in and out as Hedlunds 'dealer of anything' dad, a complete master stroke.

I haven't had this much enjoyment out of a film for months, and having not seen this advertised much, it might easily fall under the radar for most, if it does I guarantee you will have missed one of the best films of summer 2007, it is a top drawer must see recommendation.
