    Crusading vigilante architect Charles Bronson cleans up three crack-dealing LA syndicates after one causes the death of his girlfriend's (Kay Lenz) daughter in this shoddily staged sequel. J Lee Thompson takes over the directing ropes from Michael Winner and incredibly does an even lousier job marshalling the brain-damaged plot, inane dialogue and abruptly senseless violence. Awful.

    Charlie Boy the Man

    Switch of your brain and turn on your sense of humour then unlike the radio times critic you'll actually enjoy Death Wish 4. The characters are so spoofed on real life gangsters that you chuckle the whole way through this action bonanza. The amount of times Charlie makes an a*** of his plans to infiltrate the gangs and gets away with it just add to the enjoyment. The shoot out at the oil wells that see's 6 gangsters turn up on each side only for 20 odd to actually shoot it out again only increases the fun. Not a bad twist at the end to be fair and well it's Charlie Bronson, you've gotta love him. Classic 80s non PC action briliance, I love it!!
