Death of an Angel

Grace MacKenzie is a widowed mother who is ordained as an Episcopalian minister. Her source of inspiration is her teenage daughter, Vera who is confined to a wheelchair as a result of the same automobile accident that killed her father. Vera disappears and Grace sets out to find her. She discovers that Vera has joined a remote desert community led by Angel, a charismatic figure who promises salvation to his followers. Grace struggles with the growing conflict between faith and love in this gripping drama.
