I actually bought this DVD and have subsequently thrown it away. Theres no impact. Repetitive toning exercises, no real get up and go. Music is so boring you could sleep to it, when they do the exercises they do them so fast, they would have pretty much no muscle impact, cos you dont have time to tense the muscles. She does a dance routine at the end, you move about 4 steps in all, and she learns you it slowly, fair enough, but then you do it through quickly ONCE. Whats the point??? Really bored to death. Oh and between each area of workouts they have a little chat, so any momentum you've built up disappears. Wouldn't recommend at all.

I have tried a lot of fitness DVD's and this one is by far the best. Rather than the usual tired old cardio workout, this DVD features sets of exercises that you can do using cans of food, weights, and/or your own body weight. But do not be fooled - these exercises still give you a cardio workout too. They are so intense you will be huffing and puffing in no time. The strength exercises are easy to do but extremely productive and interesting - there are sections for shoulders, arms, back, bum, legs and stomach. You can either do the whole workout at once or choose to do just one section. The instructions are clear and if you do this regularly you will notice a dramatic difference.

The other benefit is that these exercises suit any level of fitness - you can use heavier weights as you improve, or do less reps if you are tired.

Resistance training is one of the best ways to lose weight, as it increases the amount of lean tissue in your body, which in turn burns more calories, even when you are at rest. So if you want to get into shape I would highly recommend it.

And if you DO want to jump around there is a dance section too.

  • Not impressed.

As a fan of Davina's 30 minute workouts, I expected this to be in a similar vein, but it isn't. It took nearly an hour, then had a really hopeless cardio dance section at the end that made it go over an hour.

I think the workout would work for general toning, as i did ache the next day but it just didn't do what it said on the tin.

I found it really boring due to the tedious repetitions, the presenters were nice but it needed some life injecting into it. I certainly didn't find it fun.

  • Excellent Toning - No Brainer Workout!

How does the multi talented mother/actress/comediene manage to fit in a fitness routine into her hectic life and stay super slim? here's how!

When I did this I felt absolutely exhausted at the end of a busy day and I have to say that this is just what the doctor ordered!

This is something to pull out either when you want to begin a safe workout routine or you really don't want to exhaust yourself to your max.

Debra Stephenson and her old Drama School Pal Adam 'better looking then Bradley Walsh' qualified fitness Instructor takes you through a section by section work out focusing on each body part.

It works well because you work each area to burning point!!

I like this because once you learn it - it's simplicity means that you could put your favourite dance track to it to provide variety, knowing that this will do the job and tone each body part. effectively without causing strain or injury.

I felt like I had done my good deed for the day and kept the flab at bay!

This DVD is great if you want something that gives fast results. I have played it twice and afterwards you really feel it working. There is'nt nearly enough cardio work within it, it still makes you sweat though and feel great afterwards. You will need weights of somesort for a couple of parts in the workout (cans are great)
