An excellent documentary featuring some less than excellent movers and shakers in the 70s boom of big bold movies and method acting. See how people like Martin Scorsese, Peter Bogdanovich and Francis Coppola rose from exploitation fodder working for Corman to dictating the trends in the whole industry. Things were to change very soon though and a new wave of commercialism ushered in Spielberg and Lucas etc and ruined it for everyone - this superb documentary illustrates the whole movement with insightful interviews with the forerunners of 70s cinema and of course William Friedkin unfortunately
