This is definitely a shift in direction for Goldie Hawn. No trace of the blonde simpleton. The story starts when Adrienne (Hawn) accidently meets Jack Saunders (John Heard). Zip forward couple of years and its their daughter birthday party.

Jack is a curator at a museum where one of his colleagues is found by Adrienne hanging in his office. When an investigation around his death is mounted it comes to light that artifacts had been forged.

Adrienne starts to suspect Jack is involved and begins asking questions. Jack then turns up dead in a car crash.

As Adrienne starts sorting through his things she finds pieces of a life he lead that she had no idea about, and starts to investigate her husbands life.

What she finds is a bit of a shock. Jack was not Jack at all and he lead various separate lives. If also turns out Jack is not dead and want some jewellery he had left at the apartment.

The plot is a bit contrived but there are parts that make you jump. Then just when you think you have it sussed another twist is thrown in.

Although not a great film it is very enjoyable. Double Jeopardy with Tommy Lee Jones is better, but this is well worth a watch.
